Setup Outlook Express for Zumatel E-mail

To setup your new zumatel.net e-mail account in Outlook Express, Open Outlook Express (your e-mail) and go to the "Tools" menu, then click on "Accounts".

Click on the "Mail" tab in the box that appears, then click the "Add" button, then click on "Mail".

Enter your name as you would like people to see it when you send them an e-mail message in the "Display Name" box, and then click "Next".

Enter your full e-mail address in the "E-mail Address" box ? be sure to use your NEW ZumaTel.net e-mail address ? and then click "Next".

Type 'mail.zumatel.net' into BOTH the "Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server:" and "Outgoing mail (SMTP) server:" boxes and then click "Next".

Enter your new ZumaTel.net e-mail address in the "Account name:" box, then enter your password in the "Password:" box, then put a check in the "Remember Password" if you would like your computer to remember your password for you, and then click "Next".

Remember, you will continue to use the same password you use today. If you cannot remember your password, you can call Tech Support toll free at 1-866-801-2404 after March 29th and the representative can assist you. Technicians are available 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.

Outlook Express will now show you have finished setting up the account with a Congratulations window. Click "Finish" in this window.

On the "Internet Accounts" window that is open, highlight the account you just created (which is mail.zumatel.net) and then click "Properties".

Click on the "Servers" tab.

Check the box towards the bottom of the window that is labeled "My server requires authentication", and then click the "Settings..." button.

Select the radio button for "Log on using" then enter your username with -zumatel as shown in the screenshot. If you would like it to remember your pasword, enter it, and check the box for "Remember password". Then click the "OK" button.

Click on the "Advanced" tab and change the "Outgoing Mail(SMTP):" number from "25", to "587". Then click "OK".

Now you are ready to remove the account information for your old netins.net e-mail account. In the Internet Accounts window, highlight the old account (which is "pop3.netins.net"), and then click the "Remove" button.

It will ask you if you are sure you want to delete this account. Click "Yes". Then you can click "Close" and your new zumatel.net e-mail address is ready to be used!
